Death takes us away in mysterious ways. And while we can’t know for sure when or how we’ll leave this world, it’s the fact itself that we have to make peace with.
Exploring the possibilities of the afterlife, artist Jenny Jinya created a few comics, and they’re really touching as well. One is about a good boy who passed away a lot sooner than you’d expect, and the other is about an equally good lady whose black fur stopped a lot of people from getting to know her.
While these works deal with a difficult subject matter, Jenny has found a way to present death as something hopeful, rather than devastating. And who knows, maybe it isn’t as bad as we picture it?
