Doc And Marty Just Had The Most Adorable ‘Back To The Future’ Reunion

This week, the iconic duo of the two main Back To The Future stars—Christopher Lloyd and Michael J. Fox—gave their fans an adorable blast from the past. The actors reunited at a charity poker tournament and both posted pictures of the two friends on their Instagram accounts. “Going 88mph for the Michael J. Fox Foundation Poker Night,” Christopher captioned the photo, referring to the speed required for the time machine to work in the classic movie.

The star duo reunited at the annual poker tournament which aims to raise money for the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research. Michael J. Fox launched the foundation back in 2000 after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s at just 29 years old in 1991.

Michael J. Fox also posted a photo of the two actors and captioned it “All in with Christopher Lloyd at Michael J. Fox Poker Night!” More than 170k people have liked the photo, with many commenting “Great Scott!” (yet another reference from the movie) and calling the actors “legends.”

They are best known for playing Marty McFly and Emmet “Doc” Brown in Back To The Future

Christopher and Michael have remained lifelong friends after starring in three Back To The Future movies, starting from 1985. The movie was the highest-grossing film of 1985 and became an international phenomenon.

This week, Michael J. Fox also announced his upcoming fourth book, called No Time Like the Future: An Optimist Considers Mortality. The book will be released this November and will include stories and notes on illness, health, aging, and the strength of family ties.
