Artist Creates The Stupidest Animal Hybrids He Can Think Of (26 New Pics)

If you love animals and often can't decide which ones you like more, Arne Olav Gurvin Fredriksen, known as gyyporama, has a bizarre, yet hilarious solution. This Norwegian electronics engineer invents new animal species by combining real ones in Photoshop. His animal hybrids are cute, silly, dorky, and sometimes a little bit creepy, but they will definitely make your day!

"I started making them in late 2012, when I was a student. Me and a friend were joking about how weird and harmless guinea pigs are, so I started mixing them with other animals just for fun with the Photoshop experience I had. This was right in the exam period, so I needed some pauses from studying. The pictures became quite popular, so I continued making some in 2013. Then I had a break for several years, and in the past years, I've picked up the hobby again. I don't have any particular inspiration, but I like the fact that these pictures can be appreciated by people of all ages all around the world," Fredriksen told Bored Panda.

Fredriksen engages his audience of over 52,000 Instagram followers in his entertaining hobby by letting them suggest and pick names for the new surreal creatures and most of them are spot on and almost as funny as the pictures.

Which of these animals do you wish existed in real life and which ones would you like to unsee? Let us know in the comments! And if you want more, check out our previous post here
