One of the areas where grandmas and grandpas are having trouble is emojis. Like using the face with tears of joy -- hysterical laughter -- to express sadness. In their defense, it's quite easy to mix the two in digital form if you aren't familiar with it and your eyesight is weakening, but c'mon. There's something profound and sinister about telling someone you're sorry they broke their foot and laughing in their face about it.
