The shortlists for Dezeen Awards 2020 are being announced this week, starting today with the 64 architecture projects that are in the running for awards in 12 different project categories.
All shortlisted architecture projects are listed below, each with a link to a dedicated page on the Dezeen Awards website, where you can find an image and more information about the project.
All shortlists to be announced this week
The interiors shortlist will be announced tomorrow, followed by the design shortlist on Wednesday and the studio shortlist on Thursday.
Vote for your favourite project next week
For the first time ever, Dezeen Awards is introducing a public vote after the shortlist announcements, so readers can choose their favourite projects from 14 September onwards! Projects with the highest number of votes in their category will win.
Shortlisted architecture projects this year are from 23 countries across the globe, including Iran, Costa Rica, Japan, Vietnam and Chile.
China is the country where the most shortlisted projects are located, with seven buildings on the list. They were selected from the 302 longlisted projects announced last month by judges including Norman Foster, Farshid Moussavi, Patrik Schumacher and Annabelle Selldorf.
The winner of each project category will be announced online in October. All ten winners will then go on to compete for the title of architecture project of the year.
