Woman Starts Documenting The Natural Wonders She’s Discovering, And Is Now Releasing A Book Of Her Illustrations

Jo Brown has been interested in nature for as long as she can remember. “It’s always fascinated me. Nature is my therapy,” she told Bored Panda. “It’s everywhere, it’s consistent, and it’s free.”

Working from her home studio in Teignmouth, England, Brown portrays the natural world around her, and her works really highlight the passion she has for Mother Earth. The intricate details, the vibrant colors; everything within these illustrations gives a sense that not only the artist spent a great deal of time in front of the paper, but observing the subjects in their natural surroundings as well. Brown’s accuracy is on par with pictures in nature textbooks. And that’s not an exaggeration.
